Picture-less months..

Since my usb cord for the camera was lost, I quickly ran out of room on the memory card in my camera, then the battery died and I didn't know where the charger was, and basically, I have some bad excuses for having only 2 pictures for the entire month of September, and a whopping 2 for the majority of October. But hey, they're cute kids, right?
September:
Charlotte helping me get ready for our trip to Tutu's house.
Peek-a-boo!
The good news is that before we went on our trip to California, I made a bunch of room on the memory card. We decided that instead of having to worry about weather and drive in November that we would go for my mom's birthday and Halloween. We had a fantastic time!
Here is day one, making Halloween cookies with Tutu:
That's all for now, stay tuned until next time, for Day 2 in California: The Pumpkin Patch!

August

If you've read the previous blog posts, then you know that August was a crazy month for us. We ended up having to move in about a week's notice and moving into my brother-in-law's basement. With all the craziness going on, we still found some time to have fun.
Here is the last picture that we took at our house.. and its quite fitting that it is our cute little Josie. :)
My sister Kimberly's birthday was on the 8th. Her husband, Jon, and my birthdays are both on the 10th. So, we had a party on the 9th! We went to Kim & Jon's and did some swimming:
And some cupcake eating:
And just general fun birthday stuff. It's great to have family close (and birthdays too!)
Later in the month, we went to the zoo in Salt Lake with some of our friends from Logan. Here is a picture of all the kiddos (minus Charlotte).
The zoo was having "Zoorassic Park" going on, so there were dinosaurs all around, and an indoor display of fossils. Josie thought they were great!
We got to ride the carousel and Josie loved riding the panda.
Hanging with a rhino..
Josie is the same size as a juvenile gorilla. Good thing her arm span is not..
We also got to ride the train. Not so comfy for adults, but the kids loved it.
Oh, and Charlotte was there too. But she pretty much just hung out in her seat on the stroller. What a fun day!
While living with Justin's brother, we've been able to help them out with a few projects. One such project required Justin to drive a skid steer. Awesome, huh?
Josie and Charlotte loving their new room:
I also got to make a birthday cake for my niece Kate.
What a great month! Sorry for the sudden flow of updates, but we'll be caught up soon, I promise. :)

Josie is 3!

Back in July, our little Josie turned 3 years old! Crazy! By that point, we knew we were going to be moving in the next couple of weeks, so we decided to have a birthday party for Josie and invite her friends that she wouldn't be able to play with anymore once we moved. We had a Princess Party! First, the girls got to decorate tiaras:
Then they all got a magic wand and we had a princess parade:
After that, we played pin the kiss on the frog.. somehow we missed getting any pictures of that. Then it was time for cake and presents! (The best part, I know..) Josie decided she wanted a frog on her cake, because I had made a frog for the game and she loved it.
Thanks friends, Josie had a fantastic party and LOVED the presents!
The very next day was the family party for July birthdays, so Josie got yet another cake.. this time she chose a butterfly.
On her actual birthday, she got to open presents from the out-of-town family. Thanks to everyone for making Josie feel so special, she had a GREAT birthday!
As for little Charlotte, well, she's still hanging around and being cute. :)

Kirk and Ginny Come to Play..

In the middle of July, our friends Kirk and Ginny came and stayed with us for a few days. It was a blast! We wish they lived closer!
Once again, pictures are all out of order. Oh well.
Ginny and Me

Tough guys, Justin and Kirk
And Ginny. :)

We had a mishap with some laundry detergent falling behind the washer, and this is how we got it out.. haha

We went to the zoo, Charlotte dug it.

We had some fun times in the pool.
And we played and had a good time! I unfortunately didn't get any pictures of anything else we did, but we loved having them visit and hope they can come back again sometime!!

June and July

Well, the bad news is the I never did find my camera cord. The good news is that I bought a new one and here come the pictures once again! We had a pretty busy summer, so I just posted a few pictures from some of the things we did this summer. Oh, and I didn't remember how to get them up in the right order, so they are backwards. :)

We finally broke down and bought Charlotte a Bumbo seat. She's thrilled about it.
We had a sleepover at my friend Kami's house. We had 8 kids and 3 moms. It was a ton of fun! Here are the kids getting settled in their tent. None of them made it through the night. hah.
Josie thought that she needed a chair, since Charlotte had one..
Watching Baby Signing Time together.
At the beginning of July, we went to Island Park with Justin's family. Josie was the early morning wake-up call for Mimi and Papa!
Josie's favorite thing to do up there: float down the river in boats!
On the 4th of July, we had a bike parade, followed by a 1 car parade that threw LOTS of candy. Josie didn't much like the bike part..
But she LOVED getting candy!
We got our jumper back out and Charlotte loves to hang out in it.
Late nights get rough on everyone!
In June, we had a family reunion with Justin's extended family. There were lots of fun things to do, including tandem bikes and wiggle cars:
Uncle Tim liked the wiggle cars so much, he didn't want to share.
And here is a cute family picture:
