We're Sneaky!

Sometimes when we hear the garage door open, we like to hide from Justin and then jump out and say "boo!" Other times, we just sneak up on Justin when he's in the other room. We crawl along and I have to remind Josie to be sneaky. So today, Justin got home and Josie and I hurried to hide in the hallway. As we started to sneak out of the hallway, Josie took the lead and crawled all the way over to Justin, saying "Neak, neak, neak". What a cute little stinker! I wish I had it on video..

October!

October has been a fun and ca-razy month! Josie is into something new every day, I swear. Here are the highlights of our month.
Riding the horse at Mimi and Papa's house. She figured out how to make it rock on her own and its her new favorite toy there.

Getting ready for bed.

One day I made the mistake of leaving a hamper of clean clothes in the hall way. Josie kept bringing me pieces of clothing that she wanted to put on. Here she is wearing 2 of my shirts and a wash cloth for a hat...

We had our first snow this month!! It went away pretty quick, but it was fun to go out and play for a few minutes. Josie loved it!

We are learning how to feed ourselves at our house... It's been an interesting time, and involves lots of clean up.

Grandma Tutu's birthday was this month. We made her a fun apron and sent it off, but not before Josie tried it on. Here she is! I'm afraid she doesn't make such a great adult clothing model..

The rest of the month was Halloween, of course! (See previous posts for that).
Here is a sneak peek into our November! New boots!

Feeding baby Stitch some crackers (Josie is great at sharing with Stitch and Woody).

Cheeser..

We hurry outside to enjoy the fall weather whenever there is a nice day..

We went down to Farmington to hang out with Aunt Kelley and do some crafts.

Ice cream!!

Getting into trouble..

.. and letting everyone know how I feel about it with this look!

Putting on every hat we can find!

And last of all, here are the latest sewing projects! I got this idea for this dress from this site. I made this out of one of Justin's old button-up shirts. I think it turned out pretty cute and it looks good with a little puff-sleeve onesie underneath.

Here's a shirt I just finished today. I'm pretty proud of it, and Josie looks adorable (as always). My favorite part about sewing is that every time I try something on Josie to make sure it fits before I finish it off, she says, "Oooh, Pitty!" Such a ham!

Well, stay tuned for more this month! We have an exciting month ahead of us. Uncle Lance and Aunt Tassia (Justin's bro & family) will be coming for a visit from Texas, and Uncle Sam, Aunt Andrea, Aunt Kimberly and Kimberly's boyfriend will be coming for Thanksgiving from California! We can't wait to see everyone!

Happy Halloween!

We have been so excited about Halloween this year, because Josie is old enough to know that there is something going on, and she was excited about her "pitty" dress. We decided to attend some of the local festivities. On Friday, we went to the Halloween story time at the library with Sara and Alli. Alli is Josie's "secret" friend. They hardly look at each other when they are together, but Alli will ask about Josie and get excited to see her, and when I tell Josie that we're going to go see Alli, she gets excited. They are funny. :) Sadly, I didn't get a picture of the girls together. I wasn't thinking! Here's Josie:

On Saturday, we got up and went to the mall for the trick or treat. Josie caught on REALLY quick! After a couple stores, she walked right up to the person outside and held her hand out. She was too cute. Here she is at home right before we left:

Here are the pictures of us going around the mall. It was a fun time, and really quick!! :)

After the mall, we stopped by Macey's (the grocery store) for some more festivities. Then we stopped at our friends' house for some lunch. They do a party that goes from noon-midnight-ish and you can stop by whenever you have time. It was great to hang out with them! After that was nap time!! After nap time, we headed down to Mimi and Papa's house for dinner. Then we went over to Aunt Dee's house and went trick or treating with Aunt Dee and Tucker.

Josie and Tucker were the hit of the neighborhood. Every time we stopped the wagon, they both started saying "Out, out, out!" We were all thrilled that Tucker left his hat on! He was the cutest pirate ever.
Once we finished off the trick-or-treating, we went back to Mimi and Papa's for homemade donuts. Here's Josie checking out her loot

We had to take a picture of Josie and Tucker together in the same chair as last year... they are lots bigger and much more mobile, so it was hard to get a good picture.

Tim and Kim had a great Wayne and Garth (from Wayne's World) duo going on. Great costumes you guys!!

Josie found the tiara from Jenna's purple princess costume and HAD to wear it.

We had a great Halloween. Thanks to everyone who helped us celebrate! Stayed tuned for the rest of our October pictures.. coming soon. :)
