The end of 2011!

We had a very busy November and December! In November, we moved from my brother-in-law's basement to my mother-in-law's basement. :) We celebrated Thanksgiving with the Satterthwaites, and somehow I didn't get a single picture. But November was lots of fun, playing with cousins and getting settled in a new place.
Josie and Charlotte LOVE the mirrors in Mimi's dining room.
We had lots of fun in December! We got Josie her own cookie decorator, so of course, we had to make some cookies.
We went downtown in Ogden to check out the Christmas village. Josie thought it was so wonderful that she wanted to live there.
On Christmas' Eve, we had the normal Satterthwaite family dinner, followed by a reenactment of the Nativity. Josie wasn't too sure about being a shepherd.
Charlotte was more enthralled with the ball that anything that was going on.
After the Nativity, we had a grab-bag game. We all ended up with the same thing--Chuck-a-Rama gift card!
After the grab bag, we all got new jamies from Mimi and Papa. Here's our little family:
Here are all the girl cousins in their cute jamies:
Santa stopped by our house on his way home, and he sure was kind! Josie came running in and said, "A DOLLHOUSE!!!!!! I wished and dreamed of one!" It was a great morning!

That afternoon, we stopped by Dan and Trisha's house to spend some time with my family. It was so fun to have so many of them close now!
At the end of December we had a little Satterthwaite get-together. Here are Josie and Tucker sharing the wiggle car.
When it was time to clean up, the kids got a ride on table cart. They're pretty cute!

Halloween

Our 3rd day in California was Sunday, and I didn't get any pictures, cause we didn't do a whole lot. We went to church at the ward that I grew up in, and it was great to see some of my friends who still live there! The next day was Halloween! Josie and Noah were VERY excited about that. Here are the girls in the morning, wearing their Halloween shirts.
Josie's favorite thing to do while we were there was to go on leaf hunts, and she built up quite a collection. On one such hunt, Papa and Josie discovered the hot tub and then had to go for a swim.
We had an adorable Wonder Woman:
Here are the kids all dressed up: Brewster from Chuggington, an adorable Chili Pepper, Wonder Woman, and a cute little Witch.
We went trick-or-treating with Greg and Noah before Noah had to leave. It was a fun fun day!
We loaded up and headed home the following morning. We had a great time visiting California and seeing everyone! We'll be back soon!

California Day 3

Day three in California happened to be Tutu's birthday! Happy Birthday to Tutu!
We celebrated by everyone taking a short trip up to Micke Grove Park. It is an amazing place with parks, picnic pavilions, a small zoo, and tons more. We packed a lunch and found a picnic table by an amazing park. There were 3 HUGE slides, a couple smaller ones, swings, chain bridges and all kinds of fun.
Then we drove over to the zoo and walked around. Since it was so close to Halloween, they had all kinds of fun decorations and games going on, and many of the kids there were in costume. We, however, were not. But we had fun anyways!

After getting everyone all worn out, we headed back home to carve the pumpkins we got at the pumpkin patch.
The finished pumpkins:

The Pumpkin Patch

Day 2 of our trip to California (which now was MONTHS ago... hmm).
We went to a pumpkin patch that was really more like a Halloween Carnival! It was lots of fun!
When we first walked in, there was this huge tower of old tractor tires all filled in with dirt/sand. Josie and Noah thought it was great!
We finally tore her away from the tires with a promise of a shoulder ride...
...only to hit up the playground.
Josie loved the pillow jump. Noah wasn't so sure about it, but he liked the sand!
Our cute family:
Charlotte the barber:

Cutest pumpkins in the patch!
Greg-ums the race car driver.
After a lunch break, we hit up the petting zoo. I only got a couple of pictures because the roosters started crowing and waking up Charlotte. I left too soon and missed the goat pooping on Justin's foot!! Haha..

Chillin' outside with Ella while they were in the petting zoo.
Next were the pony rides. I thought that Josie would get nervous about it, but she loved it.

Greg, Noah, Tutu, Papa and Josie on the train ride.
After the train ride, we let the kiddos each pick out a pumpkin and then headed back to Andrea's house, where Papa attempted to educate Charlotte about sports..
And the older kids played some Elefun.
I couldn't believe the pumpkin patch! It was so fun!
