Helloooo 2011!

Our 2011 hasn't been very exciting. We've spent a lot of time just hanging out at home and enjoying our little family and life as we know it before everything gets turned upside down with a new baby.
Josie LOVES playing with her new toys and books that she got for Christmas. She still tells us which ones Santa brought her and how much she loves them.
She's also been working on the sign for "I Love you". I think she's getting pretty good!
Another fun thing is that she decided that she's ready to be a big girl and not wear diapers. We're still working on it, but every once in a while she gets to go get a treat for keeping her panties dry.
Now that its February, we're starting to have some warmer days (as in, you don't feel like you will get frostbite walking out the door!) One warm day we decided to go play at the park for a while:
Here's just a peek into life with Josie:

As for other news, Justin is loving his new job. The commute still isn't fun, but he's adjusted pretty well to it. Our house is still for sale, so if you know anyone looking in our area, send them our way! Also, countdown to baby girl #2 is coming to a close. I can't believe how fast this pregnancy has gone! I have 2 weeks left before this baby is here! Everything is looking good and baby is healthy and strong, so hopefully we can avoid having a stay in the NICU this time around. Happy 2011! :)

Goodbye 2010!

Here it is, almost halfway through February and I still haven't posted any Christmas pictures! Well, here are our Christmas pictures.
Christmas Eve festivities:
The kids and a few select adults get to be in the Nativity reenactment every year. Josie was an Angel this year.
Getting ready to open our new jamies.
And of course, the group pictures with everyone in our new matching jamies.
Christmas morning:
We got more video than pictures, but the videos take FOREVER to post. So I'll just put one or two.
Here's Josie opening her stocking. The 2nd video is her "tada". She said it after showing Justin each present. Christmas is so fun with a 2 year old!

Sunday after Christmas:
This is one of Josie's FAVORITE presents this year. Mimi made her a tent that goes on top of a card table. It had a door and window and we leave it set up most days because Josie loves to play in it, have picnics, hide, etc.
Here's a pretty normal play day at home..
Josie ready to go play on family snow day.

Pre-Christmas Post

I know I will take a ton of pictures during the next week, so I decided that I needed to hurry and get a post up to catch up on what we've been doing. We had family come in town for Thanksgiving, and it was a BLAST! Greg and his son Noah came to visit for a whole week! They stayed at Dan & Trisha's until Thanksgiving, then came to our house.

Our favorite play day was the sledding day! Here's a few pictures:
I apparently got caught up in the visiting and hanging out with all the family and cousins I hadn't seen in so long that I only got 2 pictures at the Thanksgiving Day shindig. We went to the Robinson Family get together. There were a LOT of people there! Here's a cute Josie:
And here is a picture of Grandpa and Grandma Robinson with all of their great-grandchildren who were there. The crazy thing is that a lot of them weren't even there!
After Thanksgiving partying was done, everyone came up to our house for a couple of days to hang out. Josie LOVED having Tutu (and everyone else) there.
We got a lot of snow that week, so the kids had a blast with Uncle Greg who kindly taught them all how to make and throw snowballs...

Story time with Tutu and Papa:
We also had Andrea and Sam come for Thanksgiving, but somehow I didn't get one picture with them in it! What was I thinking?? (Sorry guys!) Andrea and I were crazy again this year and went out on Black Friday. We hit the Wal-Mart 12:01 sale--that was INSANE, then got a few hours of sleep and went back out around 5. We got some awesome deals!

We had such a great time with everyone visiting, and really missed those who couldn't make it!

Here are some pictures from December:
Mommy and Josie (too bad you can't see my belly, because it's really getting quite HUGE).
Josie helped me make sugar cookies at Mimi's house.
And finally a cute little princess ready to go to church.
Stay tuned for the Christmas post in a week or two. I'm sure there will be a ton of pictures!
I hope you all have a WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS and a Happy New Year!

Videos

I have been way behind on posting videos, and there is really no way to catch up on those. It takes forever to upload them! So here are a couple of my favorites from the last few weeks.

Listen carefully and you can hear Josie singing the ABCs..

One of Josie's favorite movies is The Little Mermaid. Can you tell she's seen it a few times?

Happy Halloween!

I hope you are all having a happy Halloween! Here is what we've been up to the rest of this month:
In the car one day, Josie said, "Mama, take a picture of me!"
I may be biased, but I think she's about the cutest thing ever! Here's a couple shots of our pumpkins this year. Justin's mom GREW that mammoth Mr. Potato-head pumpkin in her garden! I'm impressed!

Logan always has an array of Halloween activites going on, and we have a blast hitting a few of them and getting some extra use out of those costumes! Here is Josie ready to go to the Library's Halloween Story-time on Friday:
We went Trick-or-Treating at the mall on Saturday morning:

For those of you who don't live in Utah, when Halloween lands on Sunday up here, the majority of people go Trick-or-Treating on the 30th. So that's what we did this year. We braved the rain and the cold and went out with some of Justin's family. She was the cutest little fairy out there! Unfortunately, we had to put her coat on before too long. At least she still had the wings outside her coat!
Enjoying the loot afterwards.
We had to get a shot of Josie and Tucker--their 3rd Halloween! Neither one really wanted to take a picture. They wanted to eat candy!

Happy Halloween!!
